A maximum of eight upper division units from related fields may be included for Geography credit, selected without petition from a list of approved alternatives in the department office or from other related courses by petition. Students who plan to obtain teaching credentials should not utilize this option.

P/NP grading option is not allowed for any major course (Prep or UD), except for Geog 193 and Geog 199RA.

The same Geography course cannot be used to satisfy more than one category towards the major.

G.P.A. requirements are at least 2.0 overall average in all major courses (Prep and UD).
