Related Courses
These are courses from other departments
on campus that somehow relate to your Geography degree. Use these courses
to increase the depth of your education in your chosen area. For instance,
if you are interested in Urban Planning, you might also want to take
Environmental Study's 135 and 165 series to learn about Environmental
Planning and Environmental Impact Reports. These are courses that will
be applied to the Geography upper-division elective requirement without
a petition. This does NOT apply to double majors, who must use a petition
to transfer units. This list is not all-inclusive and other courses
may be accepted via a petition (consult an undergraduate advisor for
more information). Petitions may be obtained from Robin
Johnson in the Geography Office or from the College of Letters &
Science Office (1117 Cheadle Hall). Also, remember that the prerequisites
of other departments must be complied with as many of these courses
do have prerequisites and may also require special permission of the
instructor.
Please note: If you take more than 8 units
from this list, all units will be applied to your major GPA.
